In Kyiv, during the forced stoppage of trains due to blackout, rescuers took almost 500 people out of the cars.

Literally: “As a result of an emergency power outage and loss of voltage in the capital’s subway, the movement of trains was suspended.

Some of them were forced to stop in the tunnels between the stations. In particular, one of the trains stopped 100 meters from the “Vokzalna” station, and the other – 1 km from the “Vydubychi” station.

Rescuers, together with law enforcement officers, helped passengers reach the stations safely. A total of 481 people were removed from the wagons.”

What preceded: It was previously reported that in Kyiv, due to the loss of voltage from external power supply centers, the movement of trains and the operation of escalators were temporarily suspended in the subway.

A systemic accident occurred in the energy system of Ukraine, as a result of which a significant part of Ukraine was cut off.
