Details: Journalists asked “Kvartal 95” about how the introduction of personal sanctions against businessman Timur Mindich, who is a co-owner of the legal entity “Kvartal 95” LLC, will affect the activities of the production company.

The studio replied that the creative team decided to create a new company – Kvartal YuA LLC.
Literally “Quarter 95”: “Its founders include people who created “Kvartal 95″ from the very beginning.
Timur Mindich has no relation to Kvartal YA LLC. Our new content will be produced by this new company.”
According to the register, the owners of “Kvartal YuA” LLC are Serhiy Shefir (54.5%), Iryna Pikalova (10.5%), Serhiy Kazanin (7%), Yevhen Koshovii (7%), Yuriy Krapov (7%), Roman Marov (7%), Oleksandr Pikalov (7%). The size of the statutory fund is UAH 1 million.
In the future, the studio plans to conduct all production activities through Kvartal YuA LLC.
The press service of the company noted that the sanctions against Mindich apply exclusively to an individual and are not related to the activities of “Kvartal 95” or the production of content.
And Mindich “does not take part in the operational, creative or management activities of Kvartal 95”, and they do not plan to do any joint work with him.
Literally “Quarter 95”: “At the same time, in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, we cannot take any actions regarding the alienation or redistribution of his share in “Kvartal 95” LLC. Therefore, “Kvartal 95″ LLC continues to exist in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.”

Prehistory:
- On the morning of November 10, it became known that NABU was conducting searches of businessman Timur Mindich and Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko (as of November 12, Galushchenko was suspended from position). At the same time, UP sources reported that Mindich had fled abroad a few hours before the searches.
- On the same day, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported that it had uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme for the embezzlement of funds in the energy sector, as well as made public audio recordings of the negotiations of the participants in this case.
- On November 11, journalists revealed the names of all those involved in the investigation of mass corruption at Energoatom, who received suspicion from NABU. According to the “Schemes” project, Timur Mindich (who is called “Carlson” in the NABU audio recordings – ed.), ex-adviser to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”), Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”), executive director of security at “Energoatom”, Oleksandr Zukermana (“Sugarman”), Ihor Fursenko (“Ryoshik”), Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina received suspicions.
- Five persons from the list of suspects have been detained. Two of them – Mindich and Zukerman – left Ukraine.
- On November 12, “Kvartal 95” reacted to the suspicion of businessman and co-owner of the studio Timur Mindich, which NABU announced as part of the case of corruption in the energy industry, stressing that he does not participate in the studio’s activities and does not influence its content.
- On November 13, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against Mindich and businessman Oleksandr Zukerman.
