Ukrainian journalist Serhii Tyshchenko believes that the coach should start work on restarting the team and show some players the door.
“Restructuring of the team. The current construction is non-competitive with the word “at all”. Serious changes are needed. It is necessary to move away from dependence on Andriy Yarmolenko and Vitaly Buyalskyi, because this is a road to nowhere. There is no perspective in this and it is only for UPL.
It is necessary to trust the youth more so that they take the initiative. Rejecting the leader Buyalskyi is one of Kostyuk’s main tasks. It is necessary to say goodbye to those players who are not able to progress. The list of potential candidates is long – Denys Popov, Vladyslav Kabaev, Oleksandr Tymchyk, Oleksandr Karavaev, Mykola Shaparenko and, perhaps, Eduardo Guerrero,” Tyshchenko noted.
Earlier it was reported that Ihor Kostyuk involved Samba Diallo, who was counted on by former coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, to train with the first team.
