“Vitaly thanked the mayor of Warsaw for helping Kyiv”, — write: sport.ua
“Kyiv received another 31 generators from the City Hall and the community of Warsaw. The first batch of 59 power supplies arrived in the Ukrainian capital last Friday. In total, the city received 90 generators from the capital of Poland.
Most of them are diesel, with different capacities – from 10 to 64 kW.
The first batch of generators was immediately taken to some districts of Kyiv — to power up the equipment of houses where there are problems with restoring heat supply.
Let me remind you that the day before I appealed to international partners to help Kyiv overcome the emergency situation. And the mayor of the sister city of Kyiv – Warsaw, Rafal Tshaskovsky himself called me, offered help, and the Poles promptly sent the equipment.
Thank you to the mayor of Warsaw and our Polish friends for this much-needed help in the energy crisis.
And in the near future we expect the next batch of generators purchased with the charity money of the Poles.
Last week, Kyiv received the first batch from Poland – 130 generators of various capacities, the funds for which were collected by Polish volunteers. In 10 days, 60,000 Poles donated almost 2 million euros,” Klitschko noted.
