The head of the Mykolayiv regional administration, Vitaly Kim, expects that the war will end in 2026, and the country will experience economic revival. He compares the situation with the reconstruction of Germany after the Second World War and urges not to lose the chance to attract investors. Phe told this in interview TV presenter Natalia Moseychuk.
He noted that after the end of the war, Ukraine will be visited by many foreign investors who will look for where to invest money and which startups to buy. “In 2026, I expect an end to the war, elections, and the implementation of the Marshall Plan for Ukraine. We will have one chance when investors come to Ukraine, and it cannot be missed,” Kim stressed.
According to him, now investors are interested in weapons and military technology, but during the war they are not ready to invest big money. Kim is sure that after the end of hostilities, this interest will become real and Ukraine will be able not only to restore the economy, but to reach a new level of development. “We must not miss this time. Not to miss from the point of view of work, corruption, so that it doesn’t happen that they came and left here,” explains the head of the Mykolaiv administration.
He calls on Ukrainians to work together to take advantage of this unique moment. According to Kim, effective governance, transparency and stability will be the key to ensure that investors stay in the country for a long time and help develop the economy.
