Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok rose to the third position in the world ranking for doubles players.

The Ukrainian improved by two places her record position, which she climbed to after winning the US Open together with Alyona Ostapenko from Latvia.

Lyudmila Kichenok’s result is a new national record for doubles tennis and a repeat of the absolute ranking record for Ukrainian tennis in general. As you know, in September 2017, Elina Svitolina was ranked third in the WTA singles ranking.

Lyudmila Kichenok has won 11 WTA doubles titles in her career, which is also a national record for doubles tennis. Among other things, she has one Grand Slam title (US Open-2024) and one WTA 1000 (Cincinnati-2022). Lyudmila also has the Grand Slam title in mixed (Wimbledon-2023).

Earlier, Lyudmila Kichenok told what superpower her partner has.
