Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok finished her doubles performance at the WTA 500 hard tournament in Ningbo, China.

The Ukrainian and her partner are in the quarterfinals Ellen Perez (Australia) lost in three sets to the tandem of Ulrikke Eikeri (Norway) / Tang Qianhui (China) in 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Ulrike Eckery (Norway) / Tang Qianhui (China) – Lyudmila Kichenok (Ukraine) / Ellen Peres (Australia) – 3:6, 6:3, [11:9]

In the super tie-break, Kichenok and Peres trailed 5:9, won four match points and tied the score at 9:9, but gave away the last two points.

Lyudmila and Ellen managed to defeat the second seeded pair of Aija Muhammad / Demi Shurs on the Ningbo courts.

Eckery and Tan will compete in the semi-finals of the 500 against the duo of Timea Babos / Louise Stefani, who are seeded at number four.
