He believes that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, against the background of the fact that Russia “suffered great losses”, is looking for a way to “get out of this situation with dignity, because he understands: he will not win this war.”
“I understand that this is a difficult winter. I understand what is happening in Kyiv, I know about the temperatures. But I sincerely believe: if Ukraine survives this winter – January, February – and we enter March and April, the advantage will be on your side, on the side of Ukraine, not Russia,” Kellogg stressed.
According to Trump’s former special envoy, the problem is that Putin “psychologically has already reached the point where he simply cannot let go of the situation.”
“Because if he lets go, he will admit that it was a defeat, that everything he did was a failure,” Kellogg concluded.
Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine showed a list of energy aid provided to Ukraine by partners in January.
It also became known that Kyiv will receive two mini CHP plants from Germany, and the Netherlands will additionally allocate 23 million euros for energy assistance to Ukraine.
And Denmark provides additional support to the energy sector of Ukraine in the amount of 20 million euros to help Ukrainians survive the winter.
