Details: Kallas noted that after Trump’s announcement of increased tariffs against a number of European allies as revenge for their stance in support of Denmark and Greenland, “China and Russia should be celebrating,” because only they benefit from such a split between Western countries.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the tariffs announced by Trump “in revenge” for the protection of Denmark a wrong approach, and French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that Europe will not be intimidated.
It will be recalled that on January 17, US President Donald Trump announced the introduction of tariffs against a number of countries that do not agree with his claims to Greenland.
This was preceded by a series of blunt statements from Trump about his desire to control the island.
