Promoter Frank Warren said that Anthony Joshua has an offer to fight Fabio Wardley and immediately get the opportunity to win the WBO heavyweight title.
Warren noted that he still did not wait for a response from the British – there was no reaction either before the fight with Jake Paul or after it.
Wordley recently became a champion and won the WBO title after relinquishing the belt to Oleksandr Usyk.
Wordley is expected to appoint a mandatory challenger (Moses Itauma) soon, but so far this has not happened and Fabio has had the opportunity to defend his title against Joshua.
On December 19, Anthony defeated Jake Paul by knockout.
