Former world champion Joseph Parker commented on Oleksandr Usyk’s decision not to hold a fight against the new WBO title holder Fabio Wordley.
According to the New Zealander, the Ukrainian seeks to meet only the biggest names of his era.
“Why didn’t Alexander want a fight with Wardley? Usyk wants to fight with the names of this era. And I think if he looks at Fabio Wardley, he’s a new name or a name coming through. So he is now the world champion, but he seems to be part of a new generation. And I think what Usyk is saying is that he wants to fight everybody who dominated the heavyweight division in his time,” Parker said.
