According to him, Putin rejects the unconditional ceasefire. This is stated in the post of Johnson on the platform X.
“What a surprise – Putin rejects the unconditional ceasefire. He wants to continue to bomb and kill innocent Ukrainians,” the Britain’s expremier said.
In his opinion, the Russian ruler wants to “make Ukraine a vassal state” and laughs at the Allies of Ukraine.
“He wants to disarm Ukraine. He wants to neutralize Ukraine. He wants to make Ukraine a vassal state of Russia. He does not negotiate. He laughs at us,” Johnson said.
Trump and Putin’s negotiations: what is the resultAs UNIAN reported earlier, Putin put forward Trump conditions for a 30-day truce with Ukraine. In particular, he demanded to stop mobilization in Ukraine and re -equipment of the Armed Forces. Also, as reported in the Kremlin, the Russian dictator supported Trump’s proposal for mutual refusal of Russia and Ukraine for 30 days from strikes on energy infrastructure.
The New York Times wrote that Putin abandoned the truce, limited to the “goodwill gestures.” The dictator did not accept the conditions of a larger ceasefire for 30 days offered by the US and Ukraine. This means that attacks on civilians, cities and ports will continue.
It became known that the US and Russia will hold a second round of negotiations in Jedda. The Special Representative of Trump for the Middle East Steve Witcoff announced that the delegation meeting will take place on March 23. Russia has not officially confirmed its presence at the meeting. In addition, it is unknown whether the delegation of Ukraine will be present.
