It is part of Jamie’s drive to help Britain eat better, which began in 2005 with his School Dinners campaign, where he was seen rowing with dinner lady Nora Sands.
Now, teaming up with experts, Jamie will look at how we can improve our sleep, concentration and immune health plus ways to lower cholesterol and increase energy.
Commissioning editor Tim Hancock said: “Jamie is the best recipe-writer in the business, and now he’s turning his attention to one of the most important conversations of our time — how what we eat can transform our health.
“We’re thrilled to bring this very helpful and delicious series to the Channel 4 audience.”
It sounds like Jamie’s healthy grub won’t just be chickpeas and quinoa thank God as recipes are set to include one-cup breakfast pancakes and a tasty smoked salmon omelette.
The book that accompanies the series Eat Yourself Healthy: Food To Change Your Life will be out in September and comes with the special two-week kick starter meal plan.
A source said: “Jamie’s career now spans more than 70 TV series and he’s not achieved that by resting on his laurels.
“Meal planning is a hot trend, championed by the likes of Joe Wicks.
“But, often, these efforts make meals feel more like fuel rather than food.
“Jamie’s plan and recipe book will be the opposite of all that.”
It comes hot on the heels of his thought-provoking Jamie Oliver Unpacks Dyslexia, which will air later this year, on Channel 4, too.

“She said go to a stand-up tanning bed, don’t stay in for more than seven minutes.
“I thought after seven minutes nothing had happened. So I stayed in for about 11.”
And after ending up with more than a tan on his privates, his next visit left him looking like a robot.
Frank continued: “They give you these gold things that fold into cones and you put them on your eye socket so the tanning thing doesn’t hurt your eyes.
“They’re gold, reflective discs. I said, ‘Can I have three?’. It looked like C-3PO with no clothes on!”
A bit too frank, Frank.
Presenter Liz Bonnin will head to one of the rivers in California, while Ade Adepitan will investigate Paris’s Seine.
The series will air on BBC iPlayer.
MIDWIVES NUN TOO PLEASEDTHE naughty nuns of Call The Midwife have been desperate to nab back their tea set, according to cast member Helen George.
The crockery is housed at a museum dedicated to the show at Chatham Dockyard in Kent – where some of the outside filming takes place.

Helen, who plays midwife Trixie, told the Like Minded Friends podcast: “The museum has our tea collection, which we’re furious about.
“We had this gorgeous tea set that was in the dining room of us all sat at Nonnatus House and they nicked it for the museum.
“I think they’ve now glued it down to the museum because we kept trying to steal it back.”
Honestly, if you can’t trust a nun, who can you trust?
