The Zaporozhye court found the FSB agent with the call sign “007” guilty of treason committed under martial law. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

This is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Counterintelligence officers of the SBU detained the spy in September 2022. She was a resident of the temporarily occupied Pologiv district, where she was recruited by the Russian special services. Under the guise of volunteering, the traitor arrived in Zaporozhye to gather intelligence.

The attacker tried to establish contacts with the Ukrainian military in order to obtain data about the base points, fortified areas and firing positions of the Defense Forces. She used an anonymous chat in the messenger to communicate information to her curator from the FSB.

The SBU timely detected and documented the criminal activities of the agent, and also took measures to secure military locations.

According to the materials of the SBU, the court convicted the perpetrator under part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The investigation was conducted by SBU employees in the Zaporizhia and Ternopil regions under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.

As ArmiyaInform reported, they wore burgundy and worked for Russia: two more traitors were detained in Chernihiv Oblast.
