“We have repelled a series of cyberattacks on State Department offices, starting in Washington, as well as some Winter Olympic sites, including hotels in Cortina.”
The attack is attributed to the Russian hacker group NoName 057(16).
The Winter Olympic Games will begin on February 6, 2026 and will last until February 22 of the same month.
