The light situation will improve in a few days, and it will take weeks to completely abandon blackout schedules.
This opinion was expressed by Yuriy Boyko, adviser to the prime minister, on the air of “Kyiv24”.
According to him, there have been improvements in electricity supply in the Odesa region: more than 60% of consumers have been restored. At the same time, there is the largest scale of damage.
“We expect to significantly improve the situation with schedules in a few days. If we talk about completely abandoning them, then I’m afraid that such a forecast will take not days, but weeks,” he said.
He added that energy workers work around the clock in three shifts to quickly carry out all repair work.
We will remind:
Blackout schedules returned in Ukraine after the massive missile attack by the Russian Federation on November 17.
In Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, blackout schedules have been adapted to daily changes in the energy system.
Several regional energy companies have announced the cancellation of hourly electricity outage schedules (hourly outages) implemented by NEC “Ukrenergo” from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19.
