We will remind you that in September, Ivanovska appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding a citizens’ initiative to provide Ukrainian-language answers to children’s letters to Santa Claus.
It is indicated that the post office of Santa Claus is starting appropriate measures in order to add the Ukrainian language to the list of languages used in correspondence with Santa as soon as possible.
It is also noted that Santa Claus and postal elves will be happy to receive letters from Ukrainian children, and Ukrainian children can write their letters to Santa Claus in their native language.
Ivanovska’s direct speech: “It is extremely important that even in such seemingly symbolic things as Christmas mail from Santa Claus, the right of Ukrainian children to receive Christmas greetings in the national language is taken into account. Such initiatives demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine and an understanding of how important it is for Ukrainian children to receive letters from Santa Claus in their native language.”
