In Kyiv, in the park named after Taras Shevchenko, on the 1000th day of the Great War, an installation consisting of children’s drawings collected from different parts of Ukraine was opened.

One of the women who worked on the project was the Ukrainian artist and designer Masha Reva. She talked about the installation on her Instagram page.

The installation in the form of a glass hemisphere, inside which children’s drawings are hung, was built on the occasion of World Children’s Day and the 35th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Protection of Children’s Rights. “That’s why it makes a lot of sense,” Reva said.

The artist said that the children had to draw a family, but she found essays in some of the letters.

One thing in particular really affected 9-year-old Alina from Beryslav. Such a message is a reflection on meanings, very simple and existential at the same time, about what is generally important for a small person.

In this work, there is a reflection on how time passes, and it actually flies sometimes, and we make different decisions. This is a very poignant work and so simple,” said Reva, adding an essay from the girl to the photos and photos.

The artist expressed her hope that adults will be able to remember what it’s like to be a child and immerse themselves in the feelings of children in the pavilion.

And children are simple [зможуть— ред.] to be children, to look up, through the transparent ceiling at nature, the sky, draw and add your drawings to the walls of the installation, complementing it,” the artist shared.
