The Pension Fund of Ukraine has made available a service that allows pensioners to receive an electronic pension certificate in the Diya application.

“The e-pension certificate is an electronic document that confirms the fact of the appointment of a pension and does not require the additional presentation of a paper pension certificate. If desired, a person to whom a pension is assigned can receive a pension certificate exclusively in electronic form without producing a paper one,” said Yevhen Kapinus, chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund.
You can create an electronic pension certificate through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund or by contacting the nearest service center of the Fund. An e-pension certificate can be obtained much faster than a paper version, usually in a few days from the moment of application.
To create and receive an e-pension card, you need to know your registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card, install the “Diya” mobile application and undergo electronic identification and authentication.
After registration, the pension certificate by age will be pulled up in Diya automatically. Disability, survivor’s or seniority pension must be added to the Action yourself.
Who can benefit from the new service?
- To pensioners who are abroad and cannot visit Ukraine to obtain a paper certificate.
- Pensioners who, for various reasons, cannot receive a document at the Fund’s service centers.
So, now in Ukraine there are already three options for a pension certificate:
- a traditional paper pension certificate, which can be obtained by filling out a questionnaire at the Pension Fund service center or by sending an application for the production of a document through the Fund’s electronic services web portal or the “Pension Fund” mobile application;
- electronic pension certificate in the form of a payment card issued by Oschadbank;
- e-pension certificate.
As noted by the Pension Fund, even without additional announcement of this service, 689 new e-pension certificates have already been generated.
Previously, such an approach with the launch of an electronic document was implemented with a driver’s license. Now every fifth Ukrainian, replacing a driver’s license in Diya, orders only a digital document.
