The leader of the corruption group, Timur Mindich, collected dossiers not only on law enforcement officers who posed a threat to him, but also on well-known journalists.

This was announced by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Yurchyshyn. On his Facebook page, he published a list of journalists on whom Mindich collected dossiers and who were allegedly monitored.

Yurchyshyn emphasized that he received this list from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and published it with his permission.

The list published by the deputy states:

  • Maryna Ansiforova (COSA Intelligence Solutions, LIGA.net)

  • Yuriy Butusov (platoon commander of the 13th brigade of the “Chartiya” NSU and editor-in-chief of Censor.net)

  • Stanislav Rechynskyi (chief editor of ORD)

  • Volodymyr Fedoryn (chief editor of Forbes Ukraine)

  • Olga Chaika (Forbes Ukraine editor)

  • Yuri Nikolov (co-founder of the NashiGroshi project)

  • Andriy Kulikov (Chairman of the Commission on Journalistic Ethics)

In addition, the list included two media persons who died: the founder of “Mirror of the Week” Volodymyr Mostovy and the investigative journalist Oleksa Shalayskyi.

Yurchyshyn emphasized that such actions can be qualified as alleged interference in private life, which is a criminal article (Article 182 of the Criminal Code). However, he noted:

“According to the Criminal Procedure Code, proceedings can be opened only if the victims apply in person. My parliamentary appeal is not enough. It will be enough if journalists personally apply to the police with statements.”

The deputy added that the Committee on Freedom of Speech is ready to provide support to the mentioned persons.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption announced that the official investigation into the possible involvement of employees in the “Midas” case will last until January 10, 2026.

NABU detectives during the investigation of Mindich’s case discovered more than 500 files related to them colleagues and deputies .

Also, NABU Director Semyon Krivonos criticized the Financial Monitoring Service for not reacting to the $100 million money laundering scheme.
