President of PFL Oleksandr Kadenko exclusively for Sport.ua gave an assessment of the situation after the withdrawal of “Lesny” from the second league championship of Ukraine.
“Since “Lisne” managed to play 50 percent of the calendar matches, the organizers will not have to make any adjustments to the tournament table. Only in the next matches “Lesny” will be credited with a technical defeat.
According to the decision of the PFL Conference, if during the current season the team prematurely stops participating in the championship and loses its professional status, then it will not be able to compete in the next season’s PFL competitions.”
Earlier, the sports director of FC “Lisne” spoke about the future of the club after not showing up for the last match against “Vilkhivtsi”.
