“Patriot, which we once received from the United States, is now in Ukraine. These are Israeli systems that were armed with Israel in the early 1990s. We agreed to pass them on to Ukraine. And, unfortunately, they didn’t talk much about it. But when they say that Israel did not help military plan is not true, ”the diplomat said.
Brodsky noted that despite his criticism in Israel for the excessive support of Ukraine, he constantly tried to maintain a dialogue on war and Ukrainian defense.
This statement coincided with a large -scale night attack of the Russian Federation on the Rivne region. According to official data, Ukraine’s air defense destroyed 479 of 499 air purposes, including drones and missiles. In particular, all four launched by Russia were knocked down by the dagger missiles – extremely complex goals capable of overcoming air defense systems.
Later it became known that the Patriot system was used to neutralize them. At the same time, there was an official message about the transfer of such systems from Israel-it is about PAC-3 complexes. This suggests that it was the Israeli Patriot that could be deployed in the Rivne region and played a key role in reflecting the attack.
