Israel and Hezbollah traded accusations of violating the ceasefire on Thursday, a day after the ceasefire went into effect. About this UNN reports with reference to Reuters.

Details

The Israeli military said a ceasefire brokered by the US and France had been breached after what they said were unknown assailants, some in vehicles, arrived in several areas in the southern part of the country.

Hezbollah representative Hassan Fadlallah also accused Israel of violating the agreement.

“The Israeli enemy is attacking those who return to the border villages,” Fadlallah told reporters. But he added that “today Israel is violating the agreement, even in this form.”

Israeli tank fire hit six areas of the border strip on Thursday morning, hitting Markaba, Wazzani and Kfarchuba, Khiyam, Taybeh and the agricultural plains around Marjayoun, state media and Lebanese security sources said.

All these areas are located within two kilometers of the “blue line” demarcating the border between Lebanon and Israel. One of the sources in the security service reported that two people were wounded in Markaba.

We will remind

On November 26, it was officially announced that a cease-fire agreement had been reached between Israel and Hezbollah militants.
