The newspaper found out that the police are investigating the incident after an official appeal from the defense forces.
The investigation is being conducted by the Special Detective Unit (SDU), which is responsible for internal national security, counter-terrorism and other threats such as espionage.
It is assumed that the SDU will conduct negotiations with international partners as part of its work.
It is not yet known who launched and controlled the drones, as well as where they are now.
