And in early August, she attended the Ukrainian Championship in Lviv, where she watched, in particular, the speeches in height jumps – she admitted that she wanted to return to the sector to the competition herself. Irina Gerashchenko gradually begins to bring her form to the competition in 2026:
“Sizon Best? Already 1.50 m (laughs). But it was on the first attempt, not on the second, as I jumped 1.40 or 1.45 m. And it was the second jump and only the game. In fact, it is difficult, I will not hide this, but the form is returning, I return to these class memories of height jumps. I jumped in my head, but jumping through the bar – much more interesting.
It is difficult, you want to run, jump, knead yourself. Of course, I understand that such pauses are needed to want to return to the sector as soon as possible. I believe that it will work. Everyone understands that the woman’s body is quite interesting, especially after the birth of a baby, but I believe that I will recover and jump next year at the Ukrainian Championship.
European Championship 2026 in August in Birmingham? I do not know, we will see. I have already thrown a fishing rod to my coach. I hope Yulia Levchenko is waiting for a team staff. ”
