However, as Schemes found out in 2019, there were three companies in Russia, which were co-owned by Zelensky and his business partners Andriy Yakovlev, Boris and Serhiy Shefiry, as well as Timur Mindich.
As of May 2019, when Zelenskyi already became the president of Ukraine, three Russian companies, namely Weisberg Pictures, Platinumfilm and Green Films, were co-owned by the Shefiry brothers, Andriy Yakovlev and Timur Mindich’s company through the Cypriot company Green Family Ltd, writes Sildstvo.Info.
On June 17, 2019, Green Family left the co-founders of Weisberg Pictures. Business partner of “Kvartalivtsiv”Lithuanian director Marius Balciunas, who owned a quarter of Weisberg Pictures, became its sole owner.
According to journalists, on December 21, 2021, two Latvians, Roberts and Igors Zalivskis, became directors of the Cypriot Green Family Ltd. Already on December 30, Boris and Serhiy Shefiry, Andriy Yakovlev and Timur Mindich’s company left the co-founders of the company and Igors Zalivskis became its sole owner.
However, three days before that, Green Family’s subsidiary in Russia — Green Films — received 99.5 million rubles from the All-Russian State Broadcasting Company, which at the then exchange rate was $1.3 million, the journalists reported, citing documents obtained from a source in the Russian tax office.
According to Slidstvo.Info, it is not known who exactly received these funds.
That is, at the end of 2021, the Latvian Zalivskis, who is not connected with the media business and, according to journalists from his social networks, works as a handyman, became the owner of the company “kvartalivtsiv” Green Family, which owns a share in the Russian company Platinumfilm.
However, his family has connections with the “neighbors”.
As the investigators found out, Zalivskis had a relationship with Elina Botushanska. On her page in social networks, journalists found a joint photo with Maryna Razumova, who is the godmother of one of Elina’s sons.
Investigation.Info writes that Razumova was the director of Green Family Ltd. from 2014 to mid-2022. Until 2019, the woman managed the company together with Oksana Lazarenko, the wife of ex-head of the SBU and longtime friend of Zelensky, Ivan Bakanov.
In addition, the journalists found out that the Russian company Green Films is owned by Olga Loseva, who is also connected to the partners of Volodymyr Zelensky.
