• The consequences will not be limited to Ukraine: if US assistance ceases, it will affect European leaders and weaken the entire coalition. We will not only depend on American assistance, but also face the risk of termination of European support. It will not just 30% or 35% – we can lose at least 60% of the total amount of assistance. The risk of territorial losses and victory of Putin will increase significantly. And this is a very serious threat.
• Russia has already suffered enormous losses: 300-350 thousand servicemen were killed, 50-70 thousand have disappeared, 600-700 thousand wounded. These are approximate numbers. The ratio of losses is one killed to two wounded because their field medicine is weaker. They often leave their wounded soldiers on the battlefield.

However, the President of Ukraine believes that Russia, despite huge losses, is still not ready to end the war and does not want peace, declaring the opposite. “They will say that Ukraine is not needed that it is a global war between Russia and NATO, and that they will only negotiate with the United States. But this is only another occasion to continue the war,” Zelensky said. According to him, the sole purpose of the Kremlin dictator is the destruction of Ukraine – that our country ceases to exist.

That is why the President of Ukraine believes that it does not fit into Russia’s plans. The occupiers allegedly need a puppet in the power of Ukraine, which can be controlled.

“They had already influenced the war in our Parliament. They controlled one of the largest political parties and did their best so that Ukraine could not finally choose the European Way,” he said.

• The Russians, in fact, want to do the same thing they have done in Chechnya – completely destroy it and turn it into a completely controlled and subject to their territory. They did the same in Georgia: first – a frozen conflict, then – a subordinate government. They used the same tactics in Belarus.
• Putin is indifferent who will be the President of Ukraine, the main thing is that it is someone with anti -Western, anti -European, anti -Natowska position. Someone who considers NATO to be an enemy is just as the Kremlin portrays the Alliance for the Russians. But NATO is a defensive alliance. He does not attack anyone. The Kremlin simply manipulates its people, forcing him to believe in the opposite.

In addition, the President of Ukraine touched the topic of the election and stated that they will only take place after the hot phase of war and the abolition of martial law. But this is exactly what Putin wants. After all, if the martial law is abolished, the Ukrainian servicemen will return home, but then it will protect no one.

“Without security guarantees, Russia will invade again,” Zelensky stressed. At the same time, the current level of international support is not enough to completely displace the Putin army from the territory of Ukraine, but “we will return our lands,” the Head of State says. Note that this will happen through hostilities, with the help of diplomacy and over time, if Ukraine’s partners are pressed on Putin.

“Putin is a killer and a terrorist. It is a fact. And if our allies believe that diplomacy is a way forward, let’s be honest: Is it even the only conversation with Putin is not a compromise? Zelensky emphasizes that it is the provision of Ukraine’s membership in NATO that is the fastest path to diplomacy. But this will still not be enough, although this step gives confidence that Ukraine will never remain alone. He also explains that it is not necessary to count on “Minsk-3”, because it is not a guarantee of safety. Moreover, Ukraine’s membership in NATO can be a guarantee for Russia itself – that we will not seek to take revenge on the military way.

• Putin will understand the need to end this war only when he is put a clear ultimatum. If the US and President Trump tell him, “Warning the war, or Ukraine will receive the first, second, third …”, “he listens.
