Details: It is reported that the Podilsky District Court of Kyiv found them guilty of crimes and sentenced them:
- former President of Ukraine – 15 years of imprisonment for the organization of illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine and incitement to desertion;
- Expirer of the head of UDO of Ukraine – 10 years of imprisonment for the organization of illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine and desertion.
Prosecutors of the Maidan Department were sought for 15 and 10 years in prison, respectively. The court agreed that the prosecution was justified and proven and condemned them with a domaximally possible punishment.
Prosecutors in court proved that on February 23, 2014, the expansion of Ukraine, in conspiracy with the former Chief of the Presidential Security Service and representatives of the Russian Federation, illegally crossed the State Border of Ukraine and organized at least 20 persons from a close environment and UDO.
The flight was carried out outside the checkpoint across the state border for air connection. They flew three Russian military rifles under the control of the pilot of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the outskirts of the village of Urzuf of Mangush district of Donetsk region in the direction of the Russian Federation to the military airfield in the city of Yeysk. After spending some time, they flew to Anapa, and from there on a military transport aircraft provided by representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, went to the military airfield “Guards” in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
In the future, the expansion made a decision for the assistance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to finally leave Ukraine. While in the territory of the military unit of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the Cossack Bay area in Sevastopol, he praised the UDO of Ukraine, who provided his personal protection, before desertion and departure to Russia. The Russian military was exported from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by the expatriate.
As a result, part of the State Security Service from Sevastopol from Sevastopol departed to the Russian Federation. They did not return to military service.
The route of movement of the fugitive presidential territory of Ukraine and Russia was formed, fully controlled and accompanied by staff of the Federal Security Service and the military of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation. He agreed directly with the President of Russia.
The case was considered under the procedure of special court proceedings in absentia (in the absence of accused), since persons are hiding from justice.
The State Bureau of Investigations carried out a special pre -trial investigation.
What was before: This is Yanukovych’s second sentence. In January 2019, he was convicted of state treason and assistance to an aggressive war and appointed 13 years of imprisonment.
Earlier, 15 former employees of the Presidential Security Service of the State Security Department for desertion were reported.
