The Ryanair airline, through which Usyk and his team planned to fly, reacted to the detention of the Ukrainian boxer.

“Comrade Oleksandr was rightfully denied boarding on the Buzz flight from Krakow to Thessaloniki (September 17) by an employee of the Krakow airport due to his inappropriate behavior. Usyk was not refused boarding, but he decided not to sit down.

After boarding, an airport employee called for help, where the passengers were met by the airport police,” Ryanair said in a statement.
