Military personnel of the “Morozovichi” department discovered two men who were trying to overcome the barrier fence near the Ukrainian-Polish border. When they noticed the border outfit, they tried to run away, but the border guards quickly caught up with them.
It turned out that the men were not alone – there were two more women with them.
As it became known, four residents of Novovolynsk went on vacation to a forest massif near the border. After drinking alcoholic beverages, the men, born in 1987 and 1997, decided to make a spontaneous trip to Poland, leaving the women in the border – it is stated in the message of the DPSU.
The border guards filed administrative charges against all four for violation of the border regime. The men who tried to cross the border illegally will stand trial.
Earlier, a 47-year-old man from Kyiv was found in Transcarpathia, who tried to cross the border without checking his documents. He was detained at the Luzhanka checkpoint on a bus bound for Italy.
