The incident happened on February 9. Employees of the cafe contacted the police after they noticed that one of the visitors was carrying an object similar to a grenade. They immediately informed the police. “A report about a visitor with a grenade was received by the police on February 9 from the employees of the institution. Special police officers immediately arrived at the scene and arrested the perpetrator. A live grenade with fuse was seized from a 25-year-old resident of Vinnytsia,” the police of the Vinnytsia region reported.
The man was arrested on the spot without any injuries. Law enforcement officers seized the ammunition and sent it for examination. After that, the police conducted an urgent search of the detainee’s place of residence.
