In Ukraine, revenues from privatization significantly exceeded the planned – Svyridenko

In Ukraine, the amount of total revenues from privatization for 2024 reached UAH 9.26 billion. Additionally, UAH 1.03 billion of VAT was received.

This was reported by the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko.

“Thus, revenues from privatization since the beginning of the year have exceeded the planned amount by more than 2 times and amount to UAH 9.26 billion,” Yuliya Svyridenko, head of the Ukrainian economy, said.

She reminded that the winner of the privatization competition paid UAH 3.94 billion to the state budget of Ukraine for 100% of the shares of JSC “United Mining and Chemical Company”.

JSC “OGHK” is the largest producer of titanium raw materials in Ukraine. The company includes two plants: Vilnohirsky mining and metallurgical plant in Dnipropetrovsk region and Irshansky mining and beneficiation plant in Zhytomyr region.

The next online auction of large privatization will take place on December 19. 100% of the state share of the nationalized building materials manufacturer Aerok LLC will be put up for sale with a starting price of UAH 965.3 million.

On September 18, the first online auction for large-scale privatization in Ukraine was held in the Prozorro system. Sales – the hotel “Ukraine” was sold for more than UAH 2.5 billion at a starting price of UAH 1.05 billion.

“Tsemin Ukraine” company, owned by Azerbaijani businessman Nasib Hasanov, became the only participant in the auction for the privatization of JSC “United Mining and Chemical Company”.

Khasanov is the owner of the NEQSOL holding, which includes, in particular, Vodafone Ukraine.

The initial cost of OGHC was UAH 3.90 billion, and Tsemin Ukraine offered UAH 3.94 billion.
