In particular, it envisages an increase in the birth of a baby up to 50 thousand hryvnias. Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this during a government meeting.
“Today we approve the draft law on assistance to families before and after the birth of the child. First of all, the law provides for an increase in one -time payment of women after the birth of a child from UAH 10.3 thousand to UAH 50 thousand,” Shmigal said.
Also in Ukraine will increase payments to women who have a baby but have no professional experience. Now such payment is less than 1000 UAH, and after the adoption of the law will be 7 thousand UAH per month.
“We also provide for monthly payments to one parent or guardian as a help to care before reaching a child one year. The amount of payments will be determined separately by the government,” the Prime Minister said.
In addition, the Eyasla program starts. After the child is one year old, parents will have a choice: return to work or raise a child up to three years.
“If they choose the first option, the state will pay 8 thousand UAH on a monthly basis. These funds can be spent on payment of the child.
There is also a “baby package” in two variants: natural assistance or monetary compensation of more than 7.5 thousand hryvnias.
