In connection with a large-scale missile attack by the Russian Federation in Ukraine, “consumption restriction measures have been applied”, the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” announced on the morning of January 25.

“Schedules of application of blackouts in your region – find out on the website and official pages of your regional energy company,” the company says.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko pointed out that “the enemy is mass-attacking the energy sector again.”

“The operator of the transmission system takes the necessary measures to limit consumption to minimize negative consequences for the power system. As soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will clarify the damage caused,” the official wrote on Facebook.

After 8:20, the authorities began to cancel the air alert in the Ukrainian regions, as of 8:35, the state of emergency remains relevant in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Donetsk, Kirovohrad regions, as well as in Luhansk region and Crimea, where the air alert continues continuously.
