Rescue services continue to search for possible surviving among the ruins.
According to local authorities, Tornado struck shortly before North on Friday, damaged two residential areas and London-Korbin Airport in Kentucky. Many people were seriously injured.
Witnesses report severe destruction – houses are destroyed, the cars are scattered, the streets are covered with debris.
Governor Beshire warned that the number of victims could grow.
The National Meteorological Service has announced a warning about a “particularly dangerous situation” – a Tornado series threatened more than a million people in the region.
Tornado also affected the south of Indiana and Illinois.
More than 800,000 people are left without electricity in at least 12 states, and the recovery can take several days.
On Saturday, the danger will move to the northeastern region in the United States, in particular to states located in the territory of New England. Strong wind gusts are expected there. And in the southern plains the US is predicted a new series of powerful storms.
The Driving Forecasting Center warns the risks of natural bad weather in several regions of the United States at least by the beginning of next week.
