On September 22, in the village of Iza in Transcarpathia, believers of the Khust diocese of the UOC MP held a protest of supporters of the UOC MP under the walls of the regional TCC. They were indignant that two priests – brothers Vasyl and Stepan Guk were brought there.

This was reported by Zaxid.net and Uzhhorod City Council deputy Vitaly Glagola.

Glagola noted that the conscripted priests passed the military medical commission, after which they were issued summonses. One of the priests agreed to serve as a chaplain.

In the Khust eparchy, the UOC MP called on their faithful to pray for cleric Vasyl Huk. After he and his brother Stepan Huk, a priest of the Odesa Diocese of the UOC MP, were taken to the TCC, the parishioners came under the walls of the assembly center, knelt down and began to sing prayers.

The police of the Transcarpathian region noted that a group of people was moving along a pedestrian crossing in the village of Iza in the Khust region for some time, while the road was not completely blocked. Police crews were working at the scene.
