The attack occurred during his speech at the University of Utah, where the unknown opened the fire. After emergency hospitalization, the activist died in hospital. The attacker fired from the neighboring building about 20 minutes after the event. The victim was transported to the medical facility with the guard, and the FBI agents arrived at the scene. Later, a report on the death of Kirk as a result of the injuries received.

In addition, the ex-president, together with his wife Melania, expressed support for the family of the deceased. In a sign of mourning, he ordered to let state flags all over the country until 18:00 Sunday, September 14.
Later, Trump posted a four -minute video from the oval cabinet, where he promised to hold everyone who is involved in the murder.
“Charlie was a source of inspiration for millions, and today anyone who knew it is united by pain and surprise,” the expatriate stressed, mentioning a close relationship with Kirk, who “turned into a key political collector and a friend of the family.”
Trump also called the dead “martyr of truth and freedom” and urged society to pray for his loved ones. He parallel to this event, his own wound during a batler shooting in July 2024, and other resonant cases of violence.

Charles (Charlie) James Kirk is a well -known conservative public figure, mediaperson and author. Born in 1993 in the Chicago suburbs, Illinois. In 2012, Turning Point USA (TPUSA) co -founded, which is today the largest student association of conservative direction in a country with a representation of thousands of university campuses and a million audience on social networks.
He also managed the TPUSA Subsidiators – Turning Point Action (Tpaction), Turning Point Academy and Turning Point Faith – and led the author’s radio show The Charlie Kirk Show.
The figure was repeatedly criticized for popularization of conspiracy ideas, disputes with the Republican National Committee and the issue of TPUSA financing.
Kirk is known for a sharp position on Ukraine’s military support from the United States and criticism of Vladimir Zelensky. He has repeatedly stated that the Ukrainian president was allegedly intentionally delaying a conflict with Russia.
