On the night of September 18, a fire and detonation occurred in the city of Toropets, Tver region of Russia, due to a drone attack. The governor of the region, Ihor Rudenia, ordered a partial evacuation of the population.

Details: According to local authorities, air defense forces continue to repulse a mass drone attack in the sky above the city.

Rudenya decided to partially evacuate the population from the territory where the air defense is working and the fire is contained. Residents of Toropets are being evacuated to the neighboring town of Tver region – Zahidna Dvina.

Local residents report that an ammunition warehouse was attacked. The video shows a fire and a detonation can be heard.

Earlier, local authorities reported that a fire broke out in the city “as a result of falling UAV debris.”

That night, explosions were also reported in the Bryansk, Smolensk, Tula and Oryol regions of Russia.
