In the Ternopil region, the chief specialist of the Children’s Affairs Service of Kremenets District State Administration, Sergei Barnai, was sentenced to storing baby porn. He received two years of probation.

According to the investigation, since 2021, the man downloaded several times from the Internet of video files from porn with minor girls and kept them until the time of detection and removal during the search on February 13, 2025.
On two drives, forensic experts in general have found several hundred video files with children’s porn. According to their list specified in the court registry, the files apply to girls aged 6 to 15 years.
In court, the official fully pleaded guilty and explained that he really committed a criminal offense. He added that he repented in the done and asked the court not to punish him strictly.
The court appointed the accused two years of probationary supervision with deprivation of the right to occupy positions in state authorities and in local self -government bodies related to the activities of minors for two years.
During this period, Barna must periodically appear for registration with the authorized probation authority, to inform about changing his place of residence, work or study and not to travel outside Ukraine without the agreement with the authorized probation authority. A court appeal can be appealed.
It is noted that the judge was imprisoned because the man sincerely repented and actively contributed to the disclosure of the crime. There were also no circumstances that would burden the crime.
