The Second Western District Military Court appointed 22-year-old Russian military Anton Khozhayev 23 years of imprisonment and a fine of 590 thousand rubles. For the first five years he should be in prison, the rest in the strict regime colony, Sotavision reports.

He was found guilty of treason, desertion, participation in the activity of a terrorist organization, money laundering and preparing for a crime.

According to the investigation, Hozaev conveyed data on the location of Russian military objects and drones for monetary reward, collaborated with the Legion “Freedom of Russia” and the Crimean guerrilla movement “Atesh”.

Hazhayev did not admit guilt. Anton Khozhayev graduated from the Military Aviation Technical University, and since 2020 he was enrolled in the Air Force Training Center at the Faculty of Unmanned Aviation. He was later detained by FSB staff while trying to cross the border with Ukraine.
