The Kursk Regional Court sentenced to 24 years the imprisonment of a resident of Glushkovsky district Alexander Abramov on charges of treason, storage of explosives and encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer. This was reported by the TV channel “Infantry”.
According to the investigation, Abramov transferred to foreign intelligence data on the Russian military, the location of communication lines, routes of movement of military equipment in the border Glushkovsky district of Kursk region.
In addition, the accused, as claimed, retained the smokeless gunpowder and purchased and kept hand grenades. He tried to use one of them during detention, the investigation claimed.
Abramov found guilt only in the storage of gunpowder, with the rest of the accusations he disagreed. For the first five years, he must be in prison, the rest in the strict regime colony.
