“On the evening of January 20, explosions rang out in Novaya Adygea, after which a multi-story residential building caught fire, 11 people were injured, including two children”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
The fire in the house started during the declared alarm due to the danger of drone strikes. Krasnodar, Sochi and Gelendzhik airports were closed.
In the first message about the event in his Telegram channel, Kumpilov wrote about the arrival of the drone. “There was a fire that affected an apartment building and a parking lot with cars in the village of Nova Adygeya. Operational services are working on the spot,” the head of the region wrote. According to Baza Telegram channel, 12 apartments were damaged and residents were evacuated.
Ukrainian Telegram channels publish videos showing the fall of what they claim is a Russian anti-aircraft missile. According to their version, it was the work of anti-aircraft defense that caused the fire. Astra’s OSINT analysis confirmed that the house could have been hit by a Russian air defense missile.
