In the Kostopil district court of the Rivne region, a woman was fined who, using photoshop and a proofreader, falsified disability documents so that her son could receive a deferment from mobilization.

This is stated in the verdict of the Kostopil District Court.

In 2024, a woman, an entrepreneur from the village of Znosychi, made a digital copy of a pension certificate and certificate of the MSEK, where she changed the III disability group to II, and handed the forged documents to her son.

The court found her guilty of forgery and use of forged documents (Parts 1 and 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and imposed a fine of 8,500 hryvnias. The perpetrator admitted her guilt and contributed to solving the crime.

In Ukraine, the number of cases where men are looking for women with disabilities to take care of them has increased. Men look for them in boarding schools for people with disabilities.

In Kharkiv, a 42-year-old resident was sentenced to three years in prison because he evaded mobilization.
