The recording shows how the teacher shouts at the student sitting at the desk and hits him with the palm of his hand numerous times.
Despite the fact that the parents of the injured student have no complaints against the teacher, the local police are deciding the legal qualification of the event. At the same time, an official investigation was started in the educational institution.
The head of the local State Administration, Oleksandr Koval, and the head of the education department of the Varaska City Council, Olena Koren, confirmed that the situation is under control, and noted that all participants in the incident need psychological help. Olena Koren emphasized that the teacher had no right to use physical force and violence against the child.
Local law enforcement officers registered the fact of violence and found out that the beating of the student took place in this lyceum. The victim’s mother reported that she has no complaints against the teacher and does not want to be a participant in the criminal process, but the police are still deciding how to qualify the incident legally.
