In the Rivne region, as a result of a nighttime Russian attack, a civilian infrastructure object was damaged, one person was injured, the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Koval said.

“There is no ignition. One of the workers was slightly injured. He was given medical assistance at the scene. Currently, representatives of the Security and Defense Forces, as well as other structures, are working there,” Koval wrote in a telegram on the morning of December 21.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported earlier today that the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 97 drones at night, 75 of which were neutralized by the air defense forces.

According to the Air Force, 19 strike UAVs were hit at eight locations, as well as falling debris at one location.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
