The Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernororenko wrote about it on Facebook.
She noted that now the citizens who plan to sign the contract can choose the location of the VLK:
- At the place of accounting as before
- At the place of residence
- On the basis of a future military unit
“This will save time for those who are on military registration in one place and live in another. It is enough to update the reserve+ until the latest version. We continue to develop the reform of the VLK and make the way to service in the defense forces more convenient and accessible to anyone who is ready to join, ”Chernnoroenko said.
The Project “Contract 18-24” was officially launched by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on February 11. It envisages an annual voluntary service for Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 years with high cash security.
We will remind, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin said that the most popular positions under the contract under the program “Contract 18-24” became a sniper and a scout. The first contractors have already started basic training.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced a three -tier program of training of servicemen who are involved in the experimental project “Contract 18-24”.
