Details: It is reported that the accident happened near Knyazha station. A cargo train collided with a double-decker Murmansk – St. Petersburg passenger train.
According to detailed information, 7 wagons, three passenger and four cargo, derailed. There were 326 people in the passenger train.
Previously, the cause of the accident was a malfunction of the freight train.
As of now, 14 victims are known, of which three people are in serious condition.
It is also known that one person was trapped inside the car after the accident. Rescue operations are ongoing.
