In the Lviv region, prosecutors of the Attorney General’s office sent an indictment against a former customs officer on illegal enrichment. It is about appropriation of over UAH 12 million.

According to the investigation, earlier the accused worked at the customs, where he acquired unreasonable assets for more than UAH 12 million. It is a dwelling house in Dnipropetrovsk region, 22 land in Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions, cars-Jeep Cherokee, Toyota Venza, KAMAZ, trailer and water Brig Falkon 450L, as well as excavator “Eo-2621”.
All these assets were issued by the husband and loved ones – his wife, father and father -in -law. In total, assets of more than six thousand five hundred non -taxable minimum incomes exceed its legal income.
For the purpose of special confiscation at the request of the prosecutor, all the suspect’s assets were arrested.
Also in the Lviv region, law enforcement officers sent indictments to the court against six participants of a criminal group who worked in the bank and set up a scheme for the seizure of customer funds.
Police exposed and gathered evidence of the criminal activity of a 28-year-old resident of Sheptytsky, who appropriated almost one and a half million hryvnias. The accused faces up to twelve years in prison with confiscation of property.
