“Four people were saved – a family from Brovarshchyna: mother, father, grandmother and a five-year-old child. They were taken out from under the rubble after enemy fire. All received medical assistance and are in the hospital,” the message reads.
The State Emergency Service noted that during the night, the Russian military attacked almost all districts of the Kyiv region: due to shelling, fires broke out in residential buildings and farm buildings in Brovarshchyna, Obukhivshchyna, and Boryspilshchyna.
Mykola Kalashnyk, head of Kyiv OVA, added that the victim’s family was hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning.
“Another man received a cut wound on his forearm due to enemy fire. All necessary medical assistance was provided on the spot,” Kalashnyk said.
According to him, the consequences of the attack are recorded in four districts of the region.
“Vyshgorod district – a private house was damaged. Obukhiv district – warehouses and a private house were damaged. Brovary district – fires in three private houses, a production and warehouse building and garages. All of them have been eliminated. Boryspil district – two private houses were damaged,” Kalashnyk wrote in a telegram.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported at night that the Russian army attacked Kyiv and the Kyiv region with attack drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, and numerous explosions rang out. In Kyiv, it is known about four dead and about two dozen injured.
The day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the US Embassy in Ukraine warned about the high risk of an airstrike by the Russian Federation.
The Russian military regularly attacks other Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
