According to the Russian official, the event happened in the Zaliznorsky district on the 48th km of the Davn-Kalinovka highway, part of the train fell on the highway, the driver was injured.

“There was a collapse of the bridge. Part of the train collapsed down on the highway, which was under the bridge. The fire locomotive began – the employees of the Ministry of Emergencies quickly localized. The rest of the trains are on the railway platform, ”Hinstein said.

According to him, one of the drivers of the locomotive damaged the legs – the whole team was sent to the hospital.

There is no information on the reasons for the collapse of the bridge.

“The reason for the collapse of the bridge will be established. All operational services work in place. I keep the situation under control, ”said the governor of Kursk region.

Earlier, in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation the bridge collapsed on a passenger train, which was heading on the route of Moscow – Klimovo. The train came down from the rails.
